I have used this exit to get off the 91 freeway. To go make a left on McKinley Street . I wear a yellow bright glove on my left hand. The reason is very simple . To indicate when I am slowing down . Then my left hand out the window I make my left hand look like I am milking a cow. Then I point to the car in front of me. So that when I stop I am 15 feet behind the car in front of me. Calif Vehicle Code :21703. Stop 15 feet behind all cars stopped . I also honor the rule when driving ; One car for every ten miles. Now when I am stopped behind a car. If I see the car behind me not slwing down ,then to avoid being hit in the back I make a fake stop sign with my left hand wearing the Highly Visable Yellow Glove that I purchsed at the 99 Cent Store Only. If this does not get the attention of the car behind me, then I wave my left hand with the Highly Visible Yellow Glove up and down. This gives the impression that I have car problems. If this does not work . Then I blast the car horn for only three minutes. Calif. Vehicle Code:27001. In California the car horn can only be used when reasonably necesssary to prevent a accident . To make sure the other driver sees you. With my right hand I invert my right hand and can drive and use the car horn at the same time. I call this position 11:00 O'Clock. I press the horn with my right forearm . This gets the witnesses before a accident. What is more stupid wearing a Highly Visible Yellow Glove on the left hand from the 99 Cent Store Only . Or texting and drivng ? Notice how some very unsafe drivers are drivng 100 miles an hour . As their head is down . As they are texting and driving. I use the SMITH'S SYSTEM OF DEFENSIVE DRIVING . Example : ( 1.) Make sure they see you. This is my Highly Visibl Yellow Glove on the left hand . So this attack is for eyes. Then if this does not work. I keep my left hand out side of the window with my Hghly Visible Yellow Glove I make a fake stop sign. With my right forearm blast the car horn for three minutes. This is to attack ears. Plus to get the witnesses before I get rear ended. This over all technique is called : ( MAKE SURE THEY SEE YOU ). I also use my left hand with my Highly Visible Yellow Glove to safely change lanes. I point where I need to go. For example , if I am in the number three lane. Then I need to go to the number two lane then I point to the number two lane. Then I use my forearm of my right arm to tap the horn. If the driver in the number two lane slows down then I merge into the number two lane. As I am merging into the number two lane I keep taping the horn with my right forearm . As I am merging from the number three lane to the number two lane. The reason I tap the horn with my right forearm is so the driver in the number one lane can hear me changing lanes. The driver of the number one lane can not see me . However ; Can hear me. This coincides with : ( 1.) MAKE SURE THEY SEE YOU. So here are the Smith Sytem Techniques. ( 1.) Make sure they see you. ( 2.) Leave your self an out. This means drive stagard . Never side by side to another vehicle. The reason is the other driver's car axle might give out. ( 3.) The next technique is : Get the Big Picture . ( 4.) Keep your eyes moving . I never text and drive. I never look at the children in the back seat. I never get in a conversation. I do not play with the car radio. ( 5.) Avoid backing up. I park so as I back into any parking stall . This way when I, am ready to,leave I can drive safely forward. I tap the horn before I leave. ( 6.) Next avoid left turns. To avoid making left turns . I simply go on Yelp and make a map with the major main strees . So as when I drive to a place I have never been to I can only make right turns to get there. Next I make another map. right turns to come back home. Its better to know where you are going before you go there. The reason its dangerous to make LEFT TURNS is because some one might be racing to get away from the police . Also some unsafe drivers like to drive unsafe and show off and run the light. So Please look up : ( 1.) California Vehicle Code :21703. ( 2.) Look up California Vehicle Code : 27001. The legal way where and when to use your car horn. ( 3.) Please look up the SMITH'S SYSTEM OF DEFENSIVE DRIVING . These techniques when safely applied will prevent a car accident . The reason I shared this is because , the 91 freeway exit going East bound to get off on McKinley gets very congested . Some drivers go on the number three lane . Then they realize they need to get on the number two lane. So unsafe drivers do many rude and arrogant things. I am very shocked as there is the potential for lots of accidents . The way some drivers drive. This is why I will always use the techniques from the SMITH SYSEM OF DEFENSIVE DRIVING. Too many unsafe drivers. Be alert if you take this exit to drive to Walmart.

This park didnt need any cleanup. Sixth street park which is less than a mile away from this is littered with graffiti and homeless people and the city has never cleaned or repaired it. Funny how we experience classism right down the street
